Welcome to this gathering at Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday 16th July 2023. We are going to look at a parable that is one of Jesus’ favourite ways of teachings.
In the text, there are three major components of the parable: the Sower – the Christ follower; the disciple; the seed – the Word of God, and the soil – the heart of the missing person that we are trying to reach. And the focus of the parable is not on the Sower, nor the seed, but the focus is on the soils.
