Welcome to our service at Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting Church. Today we have a special guest speaker, Chris Powell, who is going to explore;
- The relationship between Genesis and the Second Sunday of Easter and what they may mean to us now.
- How God’s revelation rarely conforms to our own expectations – it certainly didn’t for Thomas – how our expectations of what God does and how he does it mean can lead to disappointment. We will seek to understand how we need to expect less and hope more.
- We will also explore doubt and its impact on belief.
