Welcome to Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday 18th of February 2024. This Sunday is the first Sunday of Lent – the Christian season of preparation before Easter. Lent is a time to think about God, Jesus Christ and learn more about what it means to follow in God’s ways. During Lent, we are going to focus on the sermon series, 40 Days with Jesus, which connects with eyewitness accounts of Christ’s ministry leading up to his crucifixion. This will help us prepare for Easter. They highlight major events in Christ’s life and how they impact people’s lives today.
