welcome to this gathering at Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday 13th October 2024. Today, we gather as a community to reflect on the powerful message from Mark 10:17-31, where Jesus speaks directly to the heart of what it means to follow Him. Through this story, Jesus teaches us about the potential obstacles that wealth and material possessions can create in our journey toward God’s Kingdom. As we worship together today, let us consider what it means to wholeheartedly follow Jesus, trusting Him above all else. Let’s open our hearts to the abundant rewards He offers—both in this life and in the life to come.
