Firstly let me wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures joining us.
Today’s message comes from John 10:22-30 and is titled Following the Good Shepherd.
Shepherds are mentioned many times in the Bible.
In Psalm 23, God is referred to as “my shepherd.”
In Psalm 100, God’s people are referred to as “the sheep of his pasture.”
In the good news according to John, in chapter 10, Jesus calls himself the good shepherd, and he says, “my sheep listen to my voice … and they follow me.”
Who are his sheep and what does it mean to you to follow the good shepherd?
