Ephesians 1:1-14 / Living in Gratitude

From a Biblical viewpoint, true gratitude is shown through our actions and how we live, not just by saying “thank you.” While it’s often seen as just good manners or writing a thank you note, real gratitude goes much deeper. It should be a way of life. Truly grateful people show it every day, not just on special occasions.

Like Job and Paul from the Bible, they understood gratitude as being thankful during difficult times, not just for the good things like a home, job, or food. But what if we lost all that? Would we still find reasons to be grateful? Interestingly, in the Bible, the words for gratitude and faith are often the same. If you have faith, you’re likely to feel grateful. And if you’re grateful, it shows strong faith. This deep gratitude allowed the Apostle Paul to write a message of thanks from a prison cell, showing us that gratitude isn’t about our circumstances but about our attitude and faith.  IL-WOONG.
