“Are you distracted or overwhelmed?”  Luke 10:38-42 NIV

Are you feeling distracted or overwhelmed these days?

We have had an exhausting 3 years and it can be very easy to get distracted, to complain, to get discouraged and to lose sight of what is important.

With the fires, the floods, and the pandemic, it is understanding that everyone is tired and feels overwhelmed. Maybe at work, school, Uni or in the home, you feel that you are the one carrying the load and others are not pulling their weight. At times like this, this is really a distraction from the key thing in life. It is more important than ever to think about the main thing in your life and to spend time on that.

Do you prioritise what you do with your time? What is the most important thing to you? Do you ever think about it, or do you allow yourself to get caught up in day-to-day busyness and only think about it periodically?

Jesus visits his friends Martha and Mary at Bethany and what he says reminds us of just what is most important. … Alan Findlay
