The Way and The Truth and The Life
In this passage, Jesus Christ declares, “I am the way and the truth and the life,” affirming that he is the complete and sure path to God. These words are not only comforting but also deeply missional, inviting us to know God through him.
Jesus shows us that God is revealed through love – love in action, expressed through mercy, forgiveness, and care for others. As followers of Christ, we are called not only to believe in him but also to live as he lived, loving one another in practical ways.
At the same time, Jesus as “the truth” reveals both God’s nature and our own need for grace. We are reminded of our shortcomings, yet also of God’s mercy and invitation to transformation.
Finally, Jesus as “the life” offers hope and new life through faith. Trusting in him leads us into a relationship with God and empowers us to live with purpose, love, and faith.
