Christmas Day 25 December 2025
Luke 2:1-7 / The Missing Room at Christmas
At Christmas, we are surrounded by images of perfection: happy families, peaceful homes, and endless joy. Yet for many people, the reality is very different. Christmas can be exhausting, overwhelming, and emotionally heavy.
In this text, we are reminded that the very first Christmas was not perfect or peaceful by worldly standards. Mary and Joseph arrived in Bethlehem tired and desperate, only to find there was no room for them in the inn. Jesus, the Son of God, was born in a stable because there was no space for Him.
Two thousand years later, we still face the same question: Is there room for Jesus in our lives today?
