2 Corinthians 13:11-13 & Matthew 28: 16-20 / The Living Mystery of the Trinity
On Trinity Sunday, we reflect on the mystery and meaning of the triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and how the Trinity shapes our understanding of life, faith, and relationships. Drawing from Matthew 28:16–20 and 2 Corinthians 13:11-13, we are reminded that the Trinity is not merely a mathematical concept, but the living reality of God revealed through creation, redemption, and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit.
Through God the Father, we discover our identity and purpose as His beloved children. Through Jesus Christ, we encounter God’s redeeming love made visible. Through the Holy Spirit, we experience God’s presence, guidance, healing, and strength in our daily lives.
We are called to live out Christ’s command to love God and love our neighbours, striving for peace, restoration, and unity in a divided world. Reflection is also given to the brokenness of our world, with the reminder that every person is created in the image of God and deeply valued by Him. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, God continues to bring people together in love and to build His Kingdom of justice, peace, and reconciliation. Il-Woong.
