Jeremiah 18:1-11

Surrendering to the Potter’s Hands

Jeremiah’s visit to the potter’s house gives a powerful picture of God’s work in our lives. In the vision, the potter represents God, the clay represents us, and the wheel represents life.

Just as the potter’s hands are always on the clay, God is constantly shaping and moulding us for His purpose, even through life’s twists and turns. At times, like the clay, we become marred by sin or brokenness. Yet God does not cast us aside. In His love and patience, He reshapes us into something new and beautiful.

This passage reveals that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it. He lovingly removes the impurities in our lives and calls us to surrender to His will. No matter how broken we may feel, He offers a fresh start.

The message of the potter’s house is filled with hope and grace: it is never too late for God to begin again with us. When we yield to His hands, He transforms our lives into vessels for His glory.  IL-WOONG.
