Welcome to this gathering at Lugarno-Peakhurst Uniting Church, whether you are here in person or online on Sunday 19 May 2024. Today we celebrate The Day of Pentecost. The major focus in the Scripture Reading is on the coming of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus prior to His Crucifixion and before His ascension to be with God the Father. Up to Pentecost the Holy Spirit was with His disciples but from now on the Spirit would be In them forever.
