Welcome to this gathering here at Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday, 20th of July 2025. This Sunday’s message, drawn from Luke 10:38–42, recounts the familiar story of Martha and Mary—two sisters who responded differently to Jesus’ visit. While Martha was busy with the demands of hospitality, Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet and listen. The message invites us to examine our own lives: Are we so occupied with responsibilities that we miss moments of stillness with God?
