Welcome to Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting Church online service on Sunday 26 September 2021. This is the eighteenth Sunday in the Season of Pentecost and today we conclude our 5th and final study in the Book of James. The reading from Chapter 5 encourages a believer, who seeks healing either physical or spiritual, to call on the leaders of the church to pray for them. More often than not the community of believers (the body of Church members) will also get involved, not only in the initial prayer meeting, but also by committing to prayer for the person over the coming days and weeks following the initial request.
