Welcome to this gathering at Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday 19th November 2023. Today’s gospel reading, Matthew 25:14-30, is about the Parable of the bags of gold. The point of the story is that God-given-gifts are to be used for His glory, otherwise we may lose them. As the first two servants were willing to risk losing their master’s money by investing it, we can surely take risks to invest the resources God has entrusted to us.
