Welcome to Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting Church online service on Sunday 11th of July 2021. Today’s epistle reading from Ephesians as a letter, was written by Paul not to one church but to many churches in one area, Ephesus. As Paul greets everyone, he outlines the most important thing they all share – Jesus. The language used in Ephesians 1, ‘adoption’ draws us into an understanding that we are God’s chosen people and that God’s grace extends to all people in all times.
