Welcome to Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday 9th March 2025. Today marks the beginning of a new season in the church year—Lent. We also begin a new sermon series titled “Encounter – People Jesus Met, Then and Now.” Throughout this series, we will explore how people encountered Jesus in Scripture and how He continues to meet and transform lives today. This morning, we turn to Luke 1:26-35, where we witness Mary’s life-changing encounter with the angel Gabriel. As we enter into worship, may our hearts be open to encountering Jesus in a fresh and personal way. Let us worship Him with expectation and faith.
