Welcome to this gathering here at Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday, 7th June 2026. In Matthew 9, Jesus calls Matthew, a tax collector whom others rejected, and welcomes him to follow. Through this and other stories of healing and restoration, we see that Jesus calls people, accepts them with grace, and transforms their lives. As we worship, may we hear Christ’s call afresh, experience God’s welcoming love, and be open to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
