Welcome to this gathering here at Lugarno Peakhurst Uniting church on Sunday, 16th August 2026. Today we gather as God’s people, coming from different places, backgrounds, and experiences, yet welcomed by the same gracious God. In today’s Gospel reading from Matthew 15, we meet a Canaanite woman who comes to Jesus with remarkable faith and persistence. Her encounter with Jesus reminds us that God’s grace is not limited by the boundaries we often create.
