“An Encounter that Changes Everything” Luke 24:13–35
In the story of the road to Emmaus, we see how Jesus meets us right where we are—in the middle of confusion, disappointment, and unanswered questions. As He walks with the disciples, listens to their story, and opens the Scriptures, their perspective begins to shift. What starts as a journey filled with sadness is transformed into one marked by recognition and renewed hope.
This passage reminds us that an encounter with the risen Jesus changes everything—renewing our hearts and transforming the way we live. Will we recognise Him in our own journey? Are we open to hearing His voice, even in seasons of disappointment? And how might meeting Jesus reshape our lives this week?
