Romans 5:1-5, John 16:12-15 / Living the Mystery: Understanding and Responding to the Trinity
This week’s message invites us to reflect on the mystery of the Holy Trinity – God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While human analogies can help us grasp this truth (like roles we play in life or forms of water), they can only go so far in capturing the fullness of God’s nature.
Drawing from Romans 5 and John 16, the message reminds us that the Trinity is not something to be explained away, but a divine relationship to be lived and trusted. God reveals Himself through creation, through the gift of Jesus Christ, and through the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts.
The message also speaks to the distractions of modern life – how easily we become tuned into material pursuits instead of God’s call. We are encouraged to renew our focus and loyalty to the one true God, and to allow the Spirit to reshape our hearts for a life of deeper faith, purpose, and love. IL-WOONG.
