Matthew 21:33-46, Knowing Our Place

In a society that encourages our absolute freedom, and where ‘living the dream’ usually implies no responsibilities, the gospel reminds us we are bound and indebted to God. The parable of the wicked tenants calls us to acknowledge that we often overstep the mark by imagining that we are owners instead of tenants in the church and in God’s world.

By Rev Steve Ansley, Pastoral Relations minister of the Georges River Presbytery.

Our Mission is to
Connect with people in Jesus;
Build each other up in faith; and to
Become Like Jesus.
