Acts 9: 1-20, 26-27

Helping Hands: The Power of Christian Community

This Sunday, we will explore the radical transformation of Saul (later Paul) from a fierce persecutor of Christians to a powerful preacher of the gospel, as seen in Acts 9:1–31. Saul’s life changed when he encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus, an event marked by a divine light and a personal calling. Blinded and humbled, Saul began a new journey of faith, supported by key figures like Ananias and Barnabas. Ananias, though hesitant, obeyed God’s call to help Saul regain his sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Barnabas later swore for Saul to skeptical believers in Jerusalem, enabling his acceptance into the early church.

The message will highlight how Saul’s transformation was made possible not just through divine intervention but through the help of fellow believers. It challenges Christians today to reflect on how they can support one another in spiritual growth, emphasizing the importance of community, encouragement, and collective mission in the body of Christ.  IL-WOONG.
