Explore How to Read the Bible: Why Read the Bible? / 2 Timothy 3:10-17

We say that the Bible is God’s word to us. Yet how often do we actually spend time reading its pages. Do we study it? Do we hunger for it? Do we hide it in our hearts? God is speaking through the Bible. The question is…are we listening?

The Bible is such a powerful tool. In today’s text says: it is “useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” and leads to the completeness and equipping “for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The Bible is the story of redemption that plays out really from Genesis to Revelation. How all those 40 authors over 1500 years experienced and encountered consistency with God who is in the business for redemption were written in the Bible because God wants to redeem us. It made your heart soften and changed your relationship with God.

The pages of Scripture have the power to transform your life. The Bible has the power to save you, teach you how to live, help you grow in wisdom, protect you from being deceived, develop your faith, fill you with hope, bring you joy, and give you peace.

Today I want to challenge you to make a habit of reading the Bible, just take a time and place to connect with God. If you consistently read/engage with the Bible, you will encounter God. IL-WOONG.
