Our Mission is to

Connect with people in Jesus;

Build each other up in faith; and to

Become Like Jesus.

“Becoming like Jesus – Prayer” Matthew 6:5-15

In Jesus’ day, Jewish people prayed three times a day, as do Orthodox Jews today. During the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew Chapters 5, 6 and 7) Jesus told his followers how not to pray and how they should pray instead.  He told parables about praying. We have the recorded examples of how, when and where Jesus, himself, prayed.  Today I want to explore just some of the aspects of prayer, bearing in mind that prayer develops our faith and strengthens our relationship with God.  ….. Welcome to Church

An intro to Prayer …

We built a deck. Not being one to ask for help he went about building his back deck.  He tells of how he noticed his Dad’s enthusiasm and interest in what he was doing.  All along his Dad was longing to be a part of the process, hoping he would invite him to be a part of the experience.

Generation left behind.  More than 60 million Chinese children are growing up without their parents, paying the price of their country’s dash to prosperity. Matthew Carney reports on the generation left behind. (and the work of a small Christian NGO).

The untold story of the missions.  ‘I get upset at the increasing belief that the missionaries are to blame for our lot in this world as Aboriginal people.’

What is Prayer.
